Armed robber steals painkiller at Walgreen's

A man who implied that he had a gun in his pocket robbed a Walgreen's pharmacy Tuesday evening.

We're told that the suspect entered the store near 71st and Sheridan about 8:30 p.m.

Tulsa Police Corporal Debbie Hodges tells us the suspect "walked in to the Walgreen's store, walked up to the clerk at the pharmacy and said he had gun in his pocket. He asked for bottles of Oxycontin and the clerks gave him several bottles."
The number of doses that were inside of the bottles is unknown.
"He left on foot toward Southern Agriculture and no one is apprehended at this time."
Hodges says that the suspect had several tattoes on his neck.
She described him as a 30-35 year old white male, about six feet tall and weighing 175 pounds.
He was "wearing a gray stocking cap with OU in white written on the front, a fleece gray jacket and khaki pants."
If you have information that may help police arrest this suspect, you can call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.
