Armed robber demands money at Sonic drive-in

Tulsa, Okla. — A man armed with a small, semi-automatic pistol barged into the door of a restaurant where he confronted the manager and demanded money. Tulsa police are investigating the armed robbery Tuesday night at the Sonic drive-in restaurant at 6546 East 31 Street. We're told the suspect forced the manager to open the cash register at  around 8 p.m. TPD Cpl. R.W. Solomon said, “The manager cooperated with the suspect and gave him money. He left in an unknown direction of travel with an unknown amount of money from the register.” The suspect was a white man in his 30's with tattoos on his neck and a beard.
