Three car thieves victimized a man who was parked behind a Walmart by stealing his car at gunpoint late Sunday.
The car theft victim was caught on the parking lot at about 10:45 p.m. behind the Walmart at 6625 South Memorial Drive.
That's where three men who were armed with a handgun had approached the victim and demanded that he surrender his car to them.
We're told that two black males and a white male took the victim's gray Dodge Intrepid and drove it away.
Tulsa police later found the car that had been abandoned near 61st and South Memorial.
Witnesses told police that they saw the suspects walking away eastbound toward the Presidential Suites motel.
Police summoned a canine unit and were looking for the suspects.
