Area Walmart having issues with crime

Fri, March 17, 2017 — The Walmart in Coweta has become a hot spot for crime.

So much so, police will be setting up a desk inside the store, so there is always an officer nearby.

Police tell us the number of reported incidents at the store rose from around 150 in 2015 to 339 in 2016.  Lately, officers have made a series of arrests for shoplifting.
