When cops arrived at the house, they found a booze bash with empty liquor bottles, beer cans, and marijuana in the front yard.
Police say as they approached the home, all the kids swarmed inside and turned off the lights, but 18-year-old daughter Mariel Weinland answered the door when they knocked
Well, she kind of answered the door. Two of her friends were helping to hold her up when she let police in.
Officers in Naples, Florida said the girl gave them her mom’s cell phone number. They called and Caroloyn Weinland answered, telling them she was out of town.
Officers then searched the house and were shocked to discover 56-year-old Carolyn Weinland hunkering in a closet. The Naples Daily News reports Carolyn told police they could break up the shindig.
They did just that going room to room while finding more people hiding all over the house.
Cops say Carolyn began giving "statements trying to justify having the party and allowing alcohol."
Despite claiming she didn’t buy the alcohol or drugs, Weinland has been charged with 26 counts of serving, giving, and selling alcoholic beverages to persons under 21.
