Accused hit and run driver found in traffic court

A man really didn't want his vehicle repossessed Friday afternoon.

Tulsa police say they were called out to an area near 21st and Memorial for a hit and run crash.

Witnesses told officers Lavander Hammon's vehicle was about to get repossessed, so he tried to leave the scene.  While doing so, he ended up colliding with two other vehicles.

The incident didn't end there.

Police say they were told Hammon also tried to hit the repossession employee with his vehicle.

Hammon then fled the scene, but wasn't on the loose for long.

Ironically, officers ended up finding him at traffic court in Okmulgee.

He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
