High Jet Fuel Costs Impact on Tulsa

(Tulsa, OK) -- Right now, airline passenger numbers are up in Tulsa. It's a trend predicted to change when the summer travel season is over and airlines re-evaluate routes and schedules. Tulsa International officials hope for the best, but they're ready for a possible 20 percent reduction in landing fees, which are tied to passenger numbers. To the left is a great picture of a hook echo from the May 1st tornado that struck near Pawhuska. When the image was captured from KRMG's radar system, the twister was on the ground.
