No executions in Ohio through year's end

Ohio will delay executions at least through the end of the year.

A federal judge yesterday extended a moratorium that has been in place in Ohio for months, as debate continues over the state's new combination of two drugs for lethal injections.

In January, an Ohio inmate repeatedly gasped during the 26 minutes it took him to die.

An Oklahoma inmate and an Arizona inmate took extended amounts of time to die last month.
