Choices in for final Barbara Walters 'Ten Most Fascinating' list

Like her or not, Barbara Walters has been a staple in American living rooms for decades.

Walters has hosted or co-hosted almost every kind of news or talks show in television but she’s best known for her “Most Fascinating” series.

Through the years Walters has sat across from American Presidents, Fidel Castro, Lucille Ball, Michael Jackson, and Anwar Sadat.

Walters told ET “I'm very proud of these specials. I think they've been fun and fascinating and, I hope in their way, a little important."

But Walters has decided 2013 will be her final special and we now have the list of her subjects.

Included this year will be Pope Francis, Jennifer Lawrence, the Duck Dynasty family, Miley Cyrus, and Edward Snowden just to name a few.

Walters may be as famous for a single she asked Katherine Hepburn on the ABC show 20/20. “If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be,” Walters was said to have asked.

In reality Hepburn began the conversation by comparing herself to a tree. Walters immediately followed up with “what kind of tree are you, if you think you're a tree."

Walters said the needling over that interview never stopped.

Other interviews to be featured on the 2013 special are;

Prince George, Kanye West & Kim Kardashian, and Robin Roberts,

Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013 will air Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
