Molly Schuyler credits her ability to eat huge amounts of food to being raised with several brothers and sisters.
“We did that so much as kids, we kind of battled it out,” she said smiling. “We’ve always ate big.”
Now Schuyler has taken that to a completely different level. The mother of four has become a competitor eater and it fits her very well.
“(It’s) an unexplained phenomenon; I was just born that way. She told KPTV-TV. “I started doing this about a year ago, and I guess it’s like a stupid human trick.”
Schuyler went to Portland, Oregon this week to take a food challenge at the Mad Greek Deli. In her way stood a 12-pound sandwich, one pound of french fries, and a large soda. Oh, and it has to be eaten in an hour.
Molly knocked it out in 54 minutes becoming the only woman to ever conquer the challenge. With the pride and a full belly came a check for $650.00
It wasn’t the first time Schuyler has bested a food mountain. She once put away nine pounds of cottage cheese in under two minutes.
