Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy is listed as probable on the team's official injury report. Lacy is dealing with a concussion suffered in Week 2 against the Washington Redskins. Lacy fully participated in practice this week.
Fortunately for the Packers, they had a bye week in Week 4, meaning Lacy likely won't miss more time. Had the Packers had a game instead of a bye, it's likely that Lacy would have been inactive given that he was only recently cleared to play.
Lacy is the starter, though he hasn't had much time to show his stuff. He had 14 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. Then he had one carry in Week 2 before going down with the injury. James Starks is also out, and fellow rookie Johnathan Franklin will play behind Lacy if he does, in fact, play.
Fantasy Impact: Lacy should play, and if you have him on your fantasy team, he should be a must-start. Lacy will probably end up being a good fantasy back this season, provided he can stay healthy. By all accounts, that won't be an issue, as it's hard to suggest someone is "concussion-prone." Start him.
