Florida is approaching its record for most players taken in a single draft. The latest Gator off the board is S Josh Evans, who landed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round (No. 169).
The program’s record during the era of the seven-round draft is nine (2010 and ’07) and it had 10 players picked in 1978.
Evans had 79 tackles and three interceptions last season and finished his career with 154 tackles, including seven for loss, in 47 games.
