It simply says “Cowards.”
The board was paid for by the local chapter International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union Local 103 in Dorchester, Mass. Dorchester was the home town of the youngest bombing victim killed, 8 year old Martin Richard.
Local 103 member Michael Monahan told ABC “it was Local 103′s way of shouting out our feelings of anger: Cowards.”
“No other word or words came to my mind when I heard of the tragic event downtown Boston on Patriot’s Day when a family from our neighborhood was effected so tragically,” Monahan went on.
Later on other things were added to the billboard such as “Pray for Boston.”
A shootout with police Thursday night killed one suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev. His younger brother Dzhokhar was the subject of a massive manhunt throughout most of the day Friday before he was taken into custody around 7:00 p.m.
