With the recent tornado devastation, The American Red Cross is working tirelessly to assist those who have lost so much- August 19th, The Cain’s Ballroom opens its doors for two FREE benefit shows - From 7 to 10 pm travel memory lane with The Blazer Band’s BEATLES TRIBUTE followed by ROCK N ROLL REMEMBERED. Wear your favorite rock n roll apparel from your favorite decade, and dance the night away!
The Red Cross will be present to accept donations, and to make it even more fun, a silent auction will be going strong throughout the evening with dozens of memorabilia, entertainment, jewelry and more for your bidding pleasure. 100% of all donations go directly to The American Red Cross tornado relief efforts. ***Anything we could put up for the Auction would help as well.
Volunteers are needed! Will you PLEASE consider participating in any of the following?
1) Personal contact at work, vendors, or customers and ask them to donate. From restaurants to dry cleaners, your bank, attorney, doctor, this gives all an opportunity to help.
2) Contact various merchants who may donate items for the silent auction…(I will provide donor forms to the merchant so they will receive a tax receipt from The Red Cross).
3) Forward this communication to others who may be interested in volunteering, spouse, friends, business associations, or students on summer break.
Because of the depth of destruction, funds are needed NOW. Make a donation today to The American Red Cross, put in the memo line “Cain’s benefit” and then come enjoy some of the best rock n roll anywhere on August 19th.
