Third St. Free to attend | RSVP Required TYPros members are more than intelligent, self-motivated and successful business professionals. We also spend our time and talents supporting social causes throughout the region.  The TYPros Next Generation Leadership Crew's non-profit board internship program is an excellent opportunity for YPs to combine philanthropy with professional experience.  The internship program partners you with one of more than 80 non-profit organizations for a full year; professionals finish the program with new business contacts, extensive knowledge of the board process, and an appreciation for the inner-workings of non-profit organizations. The Next Gen Crew is hosting "Get on Board" orientation to provide answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding non-profit board internships. The evening will cover details including basic mechanics of boards, how to apply for the program, what type of commitment the program requires and how to choose a board that's right for you. "Get on Board" will include a panel of past TYPros interns and two non-profit executive directors who will share their experience and their expectations.  Attendees will have early access to the application and be prioritized over those who do not attend.  The event is free and includes wine and heavy appetizers.
