On May 11th we are asking you to celebrate in absentia the path the young women in our program have taken this last year in becoming better students, productive citizens and wonderful mothers!Please consider purchasing a ticket to our Phantom Prom event. Your purchase will support our program and help our girls celebrate their success. Funds raised from this non-event will cover the expenses of a Senior Reception for our graduating students, PROM 2012, and honor the all the work that goes into getting this students to this final point!Due to the success of our services:· Over 85% of the young women completing our program indicate that they will go on to post-secondary education, as compared to the 70% of pregnant teens that drop out of high school and fail to earn even a G.E.D.· 92% of the babies born into our program are at a healthy birth weight and appropriate gestational stage, as opposed to national statistics that show children born to teen mothers are often premature and are born at low birth rates. · Every child served in our program is monitored for not only health issues, but also for abuse and neglect. Part of our services is teaching healthy child rearing behaviors. , and because these children our seen by our clinicians, all of them have their vaccinations and well-baby visits. · Over our history of more than 40 years, we have provided these services to more than 9,000 young women in the Tulsa Metropolitan community.
