Garth Brooks to return to Dublin after 17 years

Brooks stays true to his word that he will return to Dublin and play two more shows at Croke Park Stadium.

The two shows he played there in 1997 brought in an impressive 130,000 fans. At the time, the stadium was under construction.

Brooks was quoted back then saying, “When this stadium is finished, I would love to come back and try to fill it again . . . this time to the brink.”

Now, 17 years later, Garth plans to do just that.

Two Garth comeback shows are planned for July 25 and 26 at Croke Park. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. January 30.

Fans will be happy to know Garth also confirmed that he has been working on new music and could possibly play some of that new music at the shows in Dublin.

Brooks' comeback tour kicks off this fall.
